LETTER TO CITY HALL

We watched the most recent City Council meeting, which was broadcast on Tuesday evening. Thank you for bringing the topic of outdoor wood boilers before the City Council. You described the problem clear and concise to the Council. We are disappointed they did not want to look at an ordinance, but as you know, unless people take time to research the issues surrounding OWB's and grasp the bigger picture, most will tend to minimize the issue. In our letter to City Council members in July, we had provided our web site address ( http://freeinside.net ). We had hoped the visual impact of seeing videos of the actual OWB in question would help encourage discussion of the issue among Council members, but we get a feeling a majority did not take the opportunity to type in the URL. Everyone seems to be too busy these days.
Hopefully contacting the owner of the OWB will help resolve this issue. Please keep us updated when you get some results.
